The Chronicles of Mrs Claus

As a child, did you ever wonder who you would grow up to be? What career path you would take, how your family would develop, one kid or two, or more? Although I do not have any biological children, I have three amazing stepchildren, and am a grandmother to a two-year with another one on the way.  And I could not be happier.

A recreation and fitness specialist by profession, never in all my wildest imagination, did I think that I would actually be “Mrs. Claus”, but yet, here I am.  I still have that ‘belief’ in the magic of Christmas and all that Santa represents. As Santa says in “The Polar Express” movie, “the true spirit of Christmas lies in your heart.

Like most young children, I was fearful of the big guy. Yet over the years, I got over my fear of Santa and welcomed him with open arms. Like many kids my age, I wrote my annual letter to him, mailed it out and waited excitedly for his response. I could not wait to hear that the presents I asked for would be under our tree that year. As an adult, I looked forward to my annual photo session with Santa. I went from the little kid who was afraid of Santa to being married to his lookalike to then portraying Mrs. Claus, all in the span of my lifetime.

The concept of this blog is to explore the world according to Mrs. Claus, a figure that I have so much fun to represent. Each blog will be about something that is fun, educational and Christmas related. In addition, I want to challenge readers to enrich their lives by doing something out of the ordinary, out of their comfort zone, fun with their family, creating memories to last a lifetime. Kids and parents can ask questions about Christmas, Santa, the Elves or anything else they want to ask and have fun with Mrs. Claus along the way.

Helping families enrich their lives by participating in activities that are fun, educational and out of the ordinary for them creating memories to last a lifetime.
